6 Built-In Interview Formats

Every hiring process is different. Curriculo ATS supports six interview types out of the box, each with tailored scheduling logic and status tracking.

  • Video Interview — Remote-first interviews with integrated video links. Paste your Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams URL and it’s automatically included in the calendar invite and candidate notification.
  • Phone Screen — Quick first-round calls to assess baseline fit. Lightweight scheduling with phone number capture and a shorter default time slot.
  • Onsite Interview — In-person interviews with location details, parking instructions, and building access notes automatically included in the invite.
  • Panel Interview — Multi-interviewer sessions with participant management. Add or remove interviewers, track accept/decline/tentative responses for each panel member.
  • Take-Home Assignment — Async assessments with a deadline window. The candidate receives instructions and a submission link. Auto-expire past the deadline to keep your pipeline moving.
  • Culture Fit — Conversational interviews focused on values alignment and team dynamics. Typically scheduled as a final-round touchpoint with cross-functional team members.

Track Every Interview From Scheduled to Done

Each interview moves through a clear status lifecycle so nothing falls through the cracks.

  1. Scheduled — Interview created with a date, time, and type. Calendar invites sent to all participants. Self-scheduling links generated if enabled.
  2. Confirmed — Candidate confirms via email link. The status updates automatically, no manual toggle needed.
  3. Completed — Interview marked as done. Feedback can be captured immediately while it’s fresh.
  4. Cancelled / Rescheduled — Cancel with a reason (candidate withdrew, interviewer conflict, role filled) or reschedule to a new time. Both actions are tracked in the interview history with timestamps.
  5. No-Show — If no one marks the interview as completed within 2 hours of the scheduled end time, it’s auto-flagged as a no-show. Saves you from manually chasing status updates.

Self-Scheduling Links & Google Calendar Sync

  • Candidate Self-Scheduling — Generate a time-slot picker link and send it to the candidate. They choose a slot that works for them, confirm via email, and the interview is booked, no back-and-forth emails. Links auto-expire past the deadline you set.
  • Google Calendar OAuth Sync — Connect your Google Calendar via OAuth. Curriculo ATS reads your free/busy data to only offer available slots. New interviews sync to your calendar automatically. Week and day views with a time grid overlay show all interviews at a glance.

Availability Settings & Bulk Scheduling

  • Availability Settings — Set your weekly recurring availability (e.g., Tuesdays 10am–12pm, Thursdays 2pm–5pm) and block specific dates. Self-scheduling links automatically respect these windows, so candidates only see times you’re actually free.
  • Bulk Scheduling — Hiring for a high-volume role? Select multiple candidates and schedule them in batch. Choose a date range, interview type, and interviewer pool, Curriculo ATS distributes time slots automatically across your available windows.

Reminders & No-Show Detection

  • 24-Hour Reminder — An automatic email reminder fires 24 hours before the interview to both the candidate and all interviewers. Includes meeting details, video link, and a one-click reschedule option.
  • 1-Hour Reminder — A final nudge 1 hour before the interview. Keeps no-show rates low by putting the meeting top of mind right before it happens.
  • No-Show Auto-Detection — If an interview isn’t marked as completed within 2 hours of the scheduled end, the system auto-marks it as NO_SHOW. This triggers a flag on the candidate profile so your team can follow up or move on.

Participant Management

Add or remove interviewers at any time. Each participant’s response (accepted, declined, tentative) is tracked individually so you always know who’s confirmed for the panel.
